for the fun of it: residential designs
My Dream Project: a custom theater room inspired by the Emperor's Throne Room from Return of the Jedi. Sadly, it will never get built. (In no way is this affiliated with Lucasfilm Ltd.)
Theater would focus on moods of red and blue LED lighting. Wireless connectivity throughout for dimming and varying color modes.
Wall removed looking into room. Notice elevated walkway serves as a detail from the Film but also as a light filter onto the space.
The focal point is a Three-Dimensional window where a "Throne" serves as the primary seating station for the projection screen.

Two Dimensional interpretations of the center window flank each side wall. Approximately only 5" deep, they also allow for LED backlighting controls.

This "Control Station" houses tablets and a large screen connected to the rest of the house. It serves as a security screen for security cameras throughout the grounds.
The Control Station is also connected to the front house entry, displaying guests as they arrive and the ability to let them into the house with the touch of a button/screen.

"Pedal Console" installation is anchored to a wall against a mirrored surface, thus completing the form through mirrored reflection.
The Pedal Station (or Console) works primarily as a wall light Sconce. Again, emitting hues of red and blue from its core.
